Tam was a good pal of mine at Oswestry and we parted from Stirling Castle it was to be 18 years later I encountered him again in Edinburgh when he attended a Group Selection Interview I was running. For my sins I did not recognise him until he mentioned he used to sleep in the next bed to me. Great embarrassment which led to the inevitable slagging. We came across each other on the Forum and our banter continued. I spoke to him also on the phone and it was much the same. He returned to C Coy as a weapons instructor as PS Sgt along with Ken Nicol in 1972/73 and you may recall produced the film of the 1973 passing out parade which we enjoyed so much.
