From “Lost Lives” – Peter from Manchester was one of three soldiers killed in an IRA attack on a border OP at Drumuckaval. They had been in the OP for approx 36hrs when they came under attack from two positions in the Irish Republic.
Peter was the 1530th person to be killed in the recent troubles.
